Welcome to Eclogite Counseling, a compassionate space dedicated to your well-being and personal growth. I offer individual therapy for adults 18 and older, providing personalized support based on your situation and goals.
Experiencing low mood, hopelessness, or a lack of interest in things you used to enjoy? Worries have your thoughts looping and going off “the what if cliff”? Grieving the loss of loved one (human or animal!) job, or relationship)? Having difficulty sleeping and feeling exhausted from the lack of rest?
I specialize in grief/loss, insomnia, depression, and anxiety. I walk alongside those experiencing the loss of a parent, sibling, or animal companion, and those who have lost loved ones to suicide. I've been on these journeys in my own life. I am here to hold a space for you to express and process your thoughts and emotions.
My approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and collaboration. We will address your unique life journey and needs. We will focus on your strengths and desires to help you live a full and meaningful life while accepting and managing the pain that all of us inevitably experience. I am trained in various approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT and CBT-I/Mindfulness for insomnia, allowing me to tailor our sessions to your goals.
When I'm not in session, you will find me at home with my spouse and our rescue cats. Cats (and other animals too) have an amazing ability to provide comfort, remind us of the importance of self-care, and help us find moments of joy in our daily lives.
You might also find me wrapped up in a good book. I believe in the power of stories to inspire, educate, and heal. I'm always willing to recommend books and hear about the ones you’ve read that have been meaningful on your journey!
Exercise is another source of rejuvenation for me. I love to hike and run. (I just met my own goal of running my first marathon in 2025!) Regular exercise has proven benefits for mental well-being, and I encourage my clients to explore physical activities that resonate with them.
Take the first step by reaching out to me. Remember, seeking support is a sign of strength, and you are not alone. I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
I am in-network with Aetna, BCBS/Regence, MODA, and Providence insurance (except Medicare plans). I am also contracted with Lyra Health EAP. Many companies such as Walmart, Amazon, Nike, Starbucks, Providence Health Care, and Meta/Facebook offer Lyra which covers the cost of sessions.
*For out-of-network insurance, I may be able to provide courtesy billing on your behalf. If I am unable to do so, I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to verify your out-of-network benefits.
