About

Welcome to Eclogite Counseling. I'm glad you're here. This is a supportive, compassionate space where we can focus on your well-being and personal growth. I provide individual therapy for adults 18 and older, offering personalized care that is shaped by your unique experiences, needs, and goals. Are you feeling persistently low, hopeless, or disconnected from things that once brought you joy? Do worries keep your thoughts looping and spiraling into endless “what ifs”? Are you grieving the loss of a loved one—human or animal—a job, or a relationship? Are sleep difficulties leaving you exhausted and worn down? I specialize in supporting people through life transitions such as retirement, relationship changes, and career shifts, as well as grief and loss, insomnia, depression, and anxiety. I work closely with individuals who are grieving the loss of a parent, sibling, or animal companion, including those who have lost loved ones to suicide. These journeys are deeply personal—and ones I’ve experienced in my own life. I am here to offer a steady, compassionate space where you can share, explore, and process your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. My approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and collaboration. Together, we will honor your life experiences while focusing on your strengths, values, and hopes. Our work aims to help you build a full and meaningful life—one that makes room for both healing and the inevitable pain that comes with being human. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and CBT-I for insomnia, allowing me to tailor therapy to what works best for you. When I’m not working, I’m usually at home with my spouse and our rescue cats. Animals have a special way of offering comfort and reminding us to slow down, care for ourselves, and notice small moments of joy. I also love getting lost in a good book and believe strongly in the healing power of stories. I’m always happy to share recommendations—and I love hearing about the books that have meant something to you. Movement is another important part of my own self-care. I enjoy hiking and running and recently completed my first marathon in 2025. Exercise can be a helpful support for mental health, and I encourage clients to explore movement in ways that feel realistic and supportive for them. If you’re thinking about starting therapy, I invite you to reach out. Asking for support takes courage, and you don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to walk alongside you. I am in-network with Aetna, BCBS/Regence, MODA, and Providence insurance (except Medicare plans). I am also contracted with Lyra Health EAP. Many companies such as Walmart, Amazon, Nike, Starbucks, Providence Health Care, and Meta/Facebook offer Lyra which covers the cost of sessions. *For out-of-network insurance, I may be able to provide courtesy billing on your behalf. If I am unable to do so, I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to verify your out-of-network benefits.
